So let’s not talk about me. Let’s talk about you. About why you are here. Are you here for the person, the product or the presentation? If you want to catch a glimpse of who I am, let me help you adjust that focus.
If you guessed that I was born before or after you, then you would be correct. My height is relative only to yours and changes with perspective. The colour of my eyes is not as important as sharing our thoughts about what we see. If you were to meet me, you might not recognize me, but I would hope that you would recognize my “amazing grays”. Someone once told me that if you study enough in black and white, you will begin to think and see in black and white. It will cost you time to acquire this talent, but the reward is priceless.
This website is an awesome technological tool that allows me to share my photography with you, but remember that technology is a tool without sensitivity, therefore remain in awe of being human. I hope that you can feel what I feel when you experience my silver thoughts. Patrons that feel that connection should be privy to the story behind the shot. You know what it’s like when you go to a live concert and the artist shares with you the background to their song? You sense a personal bond with the artist and you can’t wait to share that “secret” with others who weren’t at the concert. Torchlight Studios website offers you the opportunity to own a part of me and to learn the story behind the shot. To have one of my silver thoughts on your wall, and to expand on that thought, because you know me, will impress all who choose to listen. They will wish they had been at the concert!
